Embark on a cultural journey through Nepal, a land-locked gem that’s known for its mountain peaks, rich history, spectacular temples, shrines and palaces. During this 12 day private tour you will discover Nepal’s highlights, from exploring the ancient civilisations of the Kathmandu Valley, to the Himalayan mountain range around Pokhara and learning about the fantastic conservation efforts that are continuing to help the endangered Bengal Tiger and Indian Rhinoceros in Chitwan National Park. This itinerary comprises of a great mix of culture, wildlife and local experiences.


Prices start from £1,917.00 per person, based on two adults sharing a twin/double room.

Day 1: UK - Kathmandu

Today you begin your journey by boarding your overnight international flight to Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu

On arrival you will be met and transferred by a private driver to your centrally located hotel.

This afternoon you’ll embark on a walking tour of the old city. Enjoy exploring the temples and palaces of Durbar Square, the cultural heart of the city, and stopping by the impressive 2500 year old Swayambhunath Stupa, one of the oldest and most important sites of worship in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Kathmandu

Today you will continue to explore the main highlights of Kathmandu. To start, you will visit Pashupatinath temple complex, Nepal's most important Hindu pilgrimage site, before continuing on to the nearby stupa of Bodhnath. Finish your private tour by spending some time at the ancient city of Patan.

Day 4: Kathmandu - Pokhara

After breakfast you’ll be transferred by private driver to Kathmandu Airport and fly to Pokhara.

Lying in the shadow of the Annapurna massif, Pokhara is one of Nepal's main trekking bases and has an idyllic location surrounded by magnificent natural scenery and small rural villages.

Days 5 & 6: Pokhara

Over the next two days enjoy Pokhara and the surrounding area.

Pokhara is an adventure haven where you can enjoy activities like paragliding, zipline and bungee jumping. Birding in the valley is also popular and special bird-watching walks with trained guides can be arranged. Alternatively, relax, enjoy the swimming pool at your hotel, go for an Ayurvedic massage or take a yoga session.

Day 7: Pokhara - Chitwan National Park (160kms)

Leaving Pokhara, today drive south to Chitwan National Park.

Close to the Indian border, Chitwan is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the country's oldest reserve. You will be surrounded by a mixture of swamp, tall elephant grass and dense forest; the park supports and protects a wide range of wildlife who roam freely in the park.

Day’s 8 & 9: Chitwan National Park

At Chitwan there is an impressive variety of flora and fauna which over the next two days you will explore with a knowledgeable ranger. The park and buffer zone are a natural habitat for the endangered Bengal tiger and Indian rhinoceros. You will have the opportunity to learn about the fantastic conservation efforts being undertaken by the park and local communities to help preserve these vulnerable species.

Day 10: Chitwan National Park - Kathmandu

This morning leave Chitwan and transfer to Bharatpur Airport. Here, return by air to Kathmandu.

Upon arrival, a private driver will transfer you to the same hotel where you stayed at the start of your trip.

Day 11: Kathmandu

This morning you will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Changu Narayan temple, a fine example of Nepalese pagoda architecture atop a hill at the eastern end of the Kathmandu valley. After, you will stop to visit Bhaktapur to explore Durbar Square and Nayatpola Temple, the tallest pagoda-temple in Nepal.

Day 12: Kathmandu - UK

This morning you will be transferred by private driver to the airport for your return daytime flight to the UK.
